· 1 entry per child. Team entries are acceptable but must be submitted in the category of the oldest child.
· Entries must be completely new (it cannot be from a past contest, event, etc.)
· Entries must be built with LEGO pieces (no LDD, custom brands, stickers, no electric components, or other non-LEGO objects used)
· Please refrain from submitting creations that are sensitive in nature or controversial. The DCCC has the right to refuse or remove any entry that is deemed inappropriate
· DCCC reserves the right to change or modify the Contest, Prizes, and Rules at any time. If you have any further questions please contact the DCCC at 903-395-4314.
· Entries must fit in a 2’X2’ space and must be free standing
Age Categories
- Novice (4-7 years old)
- Advanced (8-13 years old)
- Senior (14- High School Senior)
All entries must be submitted on the day of the event by 9am at the CHAMBER OF COMMERCE building (41 West Side Square). Judging will take place at 10AM. There will be at least 1 winner selected from each age category. Winners will be announced after judging and again on the main stage. You do not have to be present to win but you are responsible for delivering and picking up your Lego entry on the day of the event. Entries must be picked up by noon that day. All entries and participants may be photographed and may or may not be show cased on all DCCC social media outlets and or the newspaper.
