In consideration for being allowed to purchase and wear a wristband and participate in activities associated with the Delta County Fair, I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree to the following:
I understand that participation in fair activities, including but not limited to rides, games, inflatables, entertainment attractions, contests, demonstrations, and other event activities, may involve risks of injury, damage, or loss. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless:
- The Delta County Chamber of Commerce
- The Delta County Chamber Board of Directors
- The City of Cooper, Texas and its employees
- The Delta County Fair organizers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and event staff
from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including but not limited to bodily injury, property damage, or death, that may occur while participating in or attending the Delta County Fair.
I understand that by signing this waiver, I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue.
If I am purchasing or signing for a wristband for a participant under the age of 18, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of that minor, and I agree to this waiver on their behalf. I further agree that this release of liability applies to the minor and to me, and that neither the minor nor I will make any claim or file any lawsuit against the Delta County Chamber of Commerce, its Board of Directors the City of Cooper, Texas, its employees, or any event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, or vendors for any injury, damage, or loss related to participation in the Delta County Fair.
I certify that I am signing the waiver voluntarily and that I am at least 18 years of age, and I am the parent/legal guardian signing on behalf of a minor.
