Pet Costume Parade

Parade Date: Saturday, April 6th
Parade Theme: Out of this World
Check in Location & Registration: 9am-1:20PM by the Main Stage
Parade Line Up: 1:30PM by the big maroon “COOPER” across from 1st National Bank
Parade Route: Around the Square, Stop in front of Main Stage for Judging
Parade Entry Fee: FREE to Enter
Available Parade Spots: 30
Awards Presented and Pictures Taken: Immediately after the parade
Awards will be given for:
• Best in Show!
• Most Creative
• Funniest
• Cutest
Judging Criteria for each category:
• Use of Theme: Bonus points for creativity.
• Pet and Escort dressed in costume
Pet Parade Rules:
• All pets MUST be on leash or crated.
• No animals in “heat”.
• ONLY Positive Reinforcement Control is allowed.
• Pets must be escorted by someone at least 18 years old.
• No political or commercial promotions and no demonstrations.
• No solicitations and No sale of any product is allowed.
• Foot power only (exceptions may be arranged for special needs).
• Large Wagons are not allowed due to limited space
• Pet owners must pick up their pet’s “refuse” before, during, and after the parade. Bring the necessary
disposable bags and use them.

• You will receive your parade line up number at the start of the parade. Please do not be late. No number = no admittance

I understand that my attendance in the DCCC Pet Parade is not without risk to myself, my pet, or other family members, viewers or other participants either animals or humans. This includes, without limitation, risks of physical injury, mental injury, emotianl distress, trauma, death, helath, contact with other participants and their pets and property damage. All risks are known and appreciated by me. I waive any and all specific notice of the existence of the risks. I shall assume responsibility for and pay my and my pet's medical and emergency expenses in the event of injury, illness, or other incapacity regardless of wheather I autohrized such expenses. I agree that I, as owner of the pet listed on this application, am solely responsible for the pet(s) behavior and physical control and agree to carefully monitor and control it at all times. By reading and typing my name on the line below, I hereby waive and release the City of Cooper, The Delta County Chamber of Commerce and It's Board of Directors and the members of the Delta County Fair, its sponsors, and/or owners of any or all premiseson which this event is held, and/or its employees, agents and volunteers of said organization, from any and all damages, losses, fines, claims, suits, expenses (including attorney fees and defense costs), judgements and/or liabilities of any form or nature resulting from any act or omission of any pet or pet owner participating in the parade.
